Helping Others Face Fears and Talk About Death
Often, we shy away from talking about death—something that often leads to a lack of preparedness. As a death doula, I am here to have an open conversation with you and your loved ones.
Preparing for this transition can mean everything from anticipatory grief to last wishes and paperwork. I want to help people become more comfortable discussing death.
If we can talk about it, we can be more prepared to be present when our loved ones need us the most. How can I help you to explore your feelings about mortality?

Creative Expression as a Path to Explore Hopes and Uncertainties
Creative expression provides a path to explore both our hopes and our fears. How can we face our questions around death if we aren’t sure where to begin? If we feel tongue-tied and uncertain?
I use poetry, journaling and artistic expression to invite people to face their feelings about mortality. Through writing, art and legacy projects, we can create something beautiful which represents who we are in this life. Or we can create something that honors someone we’ve lost. Art and poetry provide an ideal way to get in touch with complex feelings around grief and loss.
These creative projects become living embodiments of life, love or the complexities of relationship. How can I help you access the well of creativity within you to create a legacy project, or honor someone else’s presence in your life?
Let’s talk about it.
